PixelFire survive a grueling series against DenDD that saw the former team win 2-0 (41-38 on de_mirage and 16-5 on de_train) and are now the fourth and final team to advance to the PGL Regional Minor Championship playoffs.
PixelFire and DenDD already met in the Group B opener where the former team, led by Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea and André "BARBARR" Möller, dominated the Swedish-Bosnian DenDD 16-2 on de_cbble.
Both teams reconvened in the Group B decider match following DenDD taking down Lemondogs in the elimination match and PixelFire narrowly losing the winners' match against HellRaisers.
BARBARR's PixelFire grinded out a record map one victory
The first map of de_mirage would go down in the history books as the longest offline map (79 rounds) at a notable LAN in CS:GO history and saw PixelFire edge out DenDD 41-38 after five MR5 overtimes and 18 map points faced by PixelFire.
With DenDD's emotions at fever pitch, Bence "DeadFox" Böröcz and his PixelFire teammates kicked off de_train with a dominant 13-2 CT side, giving no quarter.
On their T-side, PixelFire won the pistolround and were then reset by a pistol and Scout buy on DenDD's side; however the Swedish-Danish-Hungarian team continued to attack bombsites successfully and claimed the map 16-5 to win the series.
